Traveling with children
When traveling with children, it is good to be at the airport well in advance. If you have a pram with you, there is a luggage bag for the pram to buy, at a cost of SEK 50, in connection with the check-in,. Alternatively, you book a protective bag via Airshells. The safety bag is picked up at the airport. Nursing rooms are available both adjacent to the departure hall and out in the gate area after the security check. Children between 0-2 years are counted as infants and must be booked even if they do not need their own seat on board. More information can be found on each airline's website.
Most airlines offer assistance services for children between the ages of 5 and 11 who travel alone. It is important that you arrive at the airport in good time and that the person who leaves / picks up the child is also the one who is registered with the airline when booking. Identification is checked for the adult at check-in and when the child is picked up on arrival. Upon departure, a relative must remain at the airport until the aircraft has taken off.
