Environmental policy

Environmental considerations in the operations at Kalmar Öland Airport are regulated in general environmental statutes and special government decisions. Long-term sustainable methods are applied in the airport's environmental work. Following this, the following environmental policy has been adopted: Through training and knowledge, airport staff must be motivated to take the environment into account in their own work and work to minimize the environmental impact. In its operations, Kalmar Öland Airport will work to prevent and remedy the environmental impact of the airport's various activities. When choosing services and goods, environmental considerations must form a natural part of the assessment basis. The airport's environmental work shall be conducted in accordance with the established environmental management system. Follow-up and information about the environmental work shall take place continuously.
